Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cloud Operations Support Engineer to join our Cloud Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and resolving incidents, alerts, and service requests across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments. You will work closely with internal teams and hyperscaler support to ensure high availability and performance of cloud services for both managed and resell customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage incidents, alerts, and service requests using ServiceNow.
  • Investigate and respond to alerts generated by monitoring platforms such as LogicMonitor.
  • Escalate unresolved or critical issues to internal teams or hyperscaler support (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Provide proactive support for fully managed cloud customers, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Assist cloud resell customers with general support queries and coordinate with hyperscaler support teams as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and shift-based support schedules if required.


Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud operations or technical support roles.
  • Foundational to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as LogicMonitor, Datadog, CloudWatch, or similar.
  • Experience using ITSM tools like ServiceNow for incident and request management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and customer support.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications such as Azure Fundamentals, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or Google Associate Cloud Engineer.
  • Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) is a plus.
  • Understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices is an advantage.
