Job description

Description

Bluewhite drives the growth of resilient farms, through pioneering technology, and a friendly user experience. Our vision is to bring sustainable innovation to growers worldwide. The Bluewhite mission is to build resilient farms by maximizing the grower’s productivity and reducing their operational cost. We equip existing fleets with autonomous technology, an easy-to-use platform, and end-to-end service, supporting their journey to a more profitable and sustainable farm. Together, we will Grow Forward.

Are you looking to join a team that impacts the world's future daily? Our team does that every single day. We are a global company located in TLV, Israel, and California, USA, driving the growth of resilient farms through pioneering technology and a friendly user experience.

We seek a passionate Robotics Autonomy Team Lead to join our team and drive the development of cutting-edge autonomous robotic systems.

Responsibilities - what you will be doing:

  • Design, implement, test, and deploy motion planning and navigation algorithms that drive vehicles safely and efficiently in unpredictable terrains, generating collision-free paths and dynamic maneuvers
  • Shape top-level autonomy algorithms, balancing performance, safety, and scalability, while employing modern software engineering practices to produce clean, robust, and well-tested code
  • Leverage real-world data and simulation to continuously refine and optimize algorithms, ensuring stability and resilience in harsh conditions
  • Work closely with perception, hardware, product, integration, and testing teams to build, maintain, and rigorously evaluate a full autonomy stack in both simulation and real-world environments

Requirements

Requirements - does this describe you?

  • MSc/PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing, testing, and deploying motion planning and navigation solutions in C++ (or equivalent) on real robotic or autonomous platforms
  • Strong understanding of traditional and modern approaches to motion planning and navigation, coupled with solid theoretical foundations, practical expertise, and a grasp of relevant data structures, algorithms, and software tools in robotics.
  • Proficient with version control, code review, and collaborative development processes, demonstrating the ability to produce large volumes of clean, efficient, and well-tested code rapidly
  • Proven ability to lead experienced SW/Algo engineers set objectives, and guide the technical direction in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment
  • Comfortable navigating unclear solutions, embracing experimentation, and thriving in an ever-evolving landscape where challenges require creativity and resilience

Advantages – You’ll Stand Out If You Have…

  • Experience deploying autonomous systems in off-road, agricultural, or other unstructured environments
  • ROS/ROS2 development experience (C++), ideally in a professional setting
  • Exposure to AI/ML-based methods for advanced decision-making or enhanced planning performance
