Your Impact
We are looking for a Director of Product, Fashion & Luxury Group to lead product management and strategy across our iconic fashion and luxury brands, including
ELLE, Harper's BAZAAR, and
Esquire. As a senior leader, you will shape the future of fashion and luxury content experiences at Hearst Magazines, aligning with company objectives to deliver world-class digital products. Reporting to the Vice President of Product, US and Global Brands at Hearst Magazines, this role requires a combination of vision, practical execution, collaboration, and team leadership. You will champion AI-driven solutions to drive innovation and ensure sustainable growth across these aspirational and trend-setting brands.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Define and communicate a product roadmap that aligns with both business objectives and the unique needs of our luxury fashion brands.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across editorial, business, and technology teams to launch and iterate on outstanding digital products.
- Monitor product performance and adjust strategies utilizing data-driven insights and analytics.
- Partner with and inspire a cross functional team of engineers and designers, helping them set and achieve ambitious goals.
- Advocate for and integrate exceptional UX/UI, ensuring that all designs are user-centric and resonate with the luxury audience.
- Promote and integrate AI-driven technology to enhance user engagement, content personalization, and workflow efficiency.
- Act as the primary contact for relevant vendor relationships, ensuring all needs are anticipated and met with innovative solutions.
- Maintain close collaboration with central design, development, and other departments to create seamless and scalable digital experiences.
- Ensure products meet the highest standards of usability, functionality, and design in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Qualifications
Who You Are
- 10+ years of experience in digital product management for consumer-facing websites, ideally in media, fashion, or luxury spaces.
- Exceptional design sensibility and experience with UX/UI principles; ability to advocate for creative, user-focused solutions without compromising functionality or goals.
- Deep understanding of premium content audiences and their engagement preferences across global markets.
- Proven track record of owning the lifecycle of products, from ideation to execution and continuous iteration.
- Experience working in highly collaborative, matrixed organizations; familiarity with managing complex stakeholder relationships.
- Technical acumen and curiosity about leveraging emerging AI technologies to drive innovation and develop state-of-the-art digital products.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and act on data insights to shape product strategies.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees, particularly in business or product management, are a plus.
- Passion for digital trends in luxury, fashion, and editorial content.
The base salary for this role is between $168k-204k. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
