About the Role

As a Content Engineer on Ramp’s fast-moving Growth team, you’ll help scale the pace, quality, and efficiency of our content output. With a core focus on growing organic traffic, leads, and revenue through the use of automation, you’ll build topic research and content production workflows, collaborate with stakeholders across the Growth, Content, and Web Engineering teams to align on strategy, and leverage internal and external data in new ways to generate brand awareness and authority.

To start, your focus will be on automating aspects of the SEO content production process, including keyword research, competitive gap analysis, and content generation. Ultimately, the role will support other teams across Growth, Marketing, and the wider Ramp organization as we pursue our goals of improving efficiency and AI adoption across the company.

This is a role for a talented individual contributor with a bias towards action and a genuine drive to grow site traffic and revenue. You’ll get hands-on with emerging technology and play a key part in accelerating Ramp’s sizable web presence and influencing our generative engine optimization strategy.

What You’ll Do
  • Use workflow automation and agentic AI tools to design automated topic research and content production workflows

  • Connect disparate systems and data sources to improve the publishing efficiency, quality, and uniqueness of Ramp’s web content

  • Help manage the SEO content production pipeline, with the goal of shipping new and updated content daily

  • Constantly test and update prompts, context, and overall workflow builds to improve quality and adapt to changes

  • Leverage Ramp data to generate truly unique content and solidify our authority as a leader in the space

  • Analyze performance data and iterate your approach based on results

What You Need
  • 3+ years’ experience managing web, content, or growth projects at scale for a B2B brand

  • Experience with Python, SQL, JavaScript, or a strong willingness to learn

  • Experience working with a headless CMS like Sanity, Contentful, Payload, etc.

  • Experience implementing GTM automation tools like Retool, Zapier, n8n, AirOps, etc.

  • Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex instructions in a way that’s clear, concise, and easy to understand

  • Proficiency with data analytics, with an ability to draw key insights and identify trends

  • Strong organization skills, with a proven history of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • High level of resourcefulness, with a track record of being a fast learner who’s comfortable with ambiguity

Nice-to-Haves
  • Understanding of on-page SEO best practices

  • Familiarity with using generative AI for topic research or content production

  • Experience owning a traffic, pipeline, or revenue goal

  • Familiarity with implementing GTM automation tools like Retool, Zapier, n8n, AirOps, etc.
