Primary Function

The Manager Wholesale Support is responsible for leading the Wholesale Support Specialists. Manage the AE’s, through a ramp up period, with training, sales support and activating new/inactive clients.

Principal Duties

  • Manage the Wholesale Support Specialists to ensure they are performing their duties
  • Provide coaching, and continual training to the Wholesale Support Specialists
  • Provide insight for areas of improvements to the curriculum and keep training content current
  • Manage the queue to ensure team is within our SLA’s and performance metrics
  • Provide ongoing reporting on performance
  • Assist with scheduling and coverage
  • Oversee (point person) the client onboarding experience by working closely with various departments to have a holistic approach (marketing, automatic notifications, materials, feedback from sales, ops, and our BP’s, etc.)
  • Effectively communicate with Operations and Business Partners to help ensure a positive client experience.
  • Supports Account Executives/business partners with file submissions to ensure accuracy
  • Conducts daily reviews and follow-ups with ramping AEs for loans in pipeline necessary to accelerate the AE’s understanding of Newrez's systems, policies, and procedures
  • Facilitate and support broker annual renewal process
  • Assist with rollout of strategic initiatives, on an ad hoc basis
  • Assists with the communication, training, and adoption of new Newrez products
  • Serve as subject matter expert for departmental policies, processes, procedures, and technology.
  • Provides input/recommendations for continuous improvement in the division’s development and processes
  • Train new and existing Account Executives on processes as need.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience Requirements  

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and training
  • 6-8 years mortgage experience in high volume mortgage setting.
  • Channel specific sales or processing background preferred.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements  

  • Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • Knowledge of mortgage loan processing, compliance, investor products and underwriting guidelines
  • Working knowledge of various fraud tools
  • Strong organizational/time management skills with ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated leadership, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn quickly
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Prefer experience with DU/LP systems and knowledge of FHA/FNMA policies and guidelines
