Job description

About Vercel:

Vercel gives developers the tools and cloud infrastructure to build, scale, and secure a faster, more personalized web. As the team behind v0, Next.js, and AI SDK, Vercel helps customers like Ramp, Supreme, PayPal, Chick-fil-A, and Under Armour build for the AI-native web.

Our mission is to enable the world to ship the best products. That starts with creating a place where everyone can do their best work. Whether you're building on our platform, supporting our customers, or shaping our story: You can just ship things.

About the role:

We’re seeking a Pricing Product Manager who treats pricing as an integral part of our product. Your job isn’t to simply slap price tags on features—it’s to deeply understand our users, internal systems, and market dynamics, then develop elegant pricing structures that scale smoothly and drive growth. You’ll be part of a small pricing team that unblocks engineering teams and accelerates ships.

What you will do:
  • Monetize new features and primitives: Work with product managers and engineers to design pricing models that fit how developers actually want to buy.
  • Identify and own big pricing bets: Collaborate on organization-wide projects, such as efforts to integrate our agentic and AI offerings
  • Build Customer-Facing Tools: Own the creation of assets like pricing calculators and transparent pricing guides.
  • Iterate on infrastructure pricing: Collaborate with EPD and GTM to develop pricing that scales with customers.
About you:
  • Technical Depth: You’ve got technical chops — you were an engineer or PM of an infrastructure product — and you understand how pricing intersects with product architecture and developer workflows.
  • Customer Obsessed: You care about business fundamentals, but you prioritize the right thing to do for the customer.
  • Pricing Expertise: You’ve designed successful pricing strategies for infrastructure products and can show results.
  • Commitment to ship quickly: You iterate fast, validate assumptions, and bring an outcome-focused mentality.
  • Execution & Influence: You know how to earn trust and get things done.
  • Quantitative Background: A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similarly quantitative field is strongly preferred.
Bonus if you:
  • Passion for Vercel & Frontend Ecosystem: You appreciate our mission, understand the needs of modern developers, and have opinions about where frontend technology is headed.

We encourage you to apply even if you don't feel you meet all qualifications. Many successful candidates don't check every box listed.

Benefits:
  • Great compensation package and stock options.
  • Inclusive Healthcare Package.
  • Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
  • Flexible Time Off - Flexible vacation policy with a recommended 4-weeks per year, and paid holidays.
  • Remote Friendly - Work with teammates from different time zones across the globe.
  • We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $164,000.00 - $246,000.00.  This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be  adjusted based on employee location.  The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your location during the hiring process.
