Job description

Why Clipboard Health Exists:

We exist to lift as many people up the socioeconomic ladder as possible. We dramatically improve lives by letting healthcare professionals turn extra time and ambition into career growth and financial opportunity. We achieve this with our app-based marketplace that connects healthcare facilities and healthcare professionals, allowing professionals to book on-demand shifts and facilities to access on-demand talent.

About Clipboard Health:

Clipboard Health is a fast-growing Series C marketplace. We are a leader in our Long Term Care vertical and are expanding into several others (Dental Offices, Schools, etc).
We are a YC Top Company with a global, remote team of 600+ people. We have been profitable since 2022, and fill millions of shifts annually at partner workplaces across the US, where tens of thousands of professionals work with us every year.
We are looking for your help to keep growing so we can serve more professionals and workplaces.
To learn more about us, take a look at our website here.

About the Role:

We’re looking for highly motivated, outcome-driven individuals to help us run and scale the day-to-day growth efforts of our new verticals. This is not a checklist-driven operations role. We’re looking for people who can think critically, own mini-projects, and help us build systems that scale.

You will work side by side with the operators launching new verticals, supporting lead generation, marketing experimentation, customer engagement, and data handling. You’ll act as a force multiplier—someone we can trust with independent decisions, testing new ideas, and pushing initiatives forward.

What you'll do:
  • Partner with vertical operators to identify and pursue growth opportunities, whether it's a new outreach channel, a faster way to verify leads, or a better process for tracking campaign results
  • Manage the execution of outbound outreach via email, text, and phone - writing, scheduling, monitoring, and iterating on campaigns using tools you’ll learn in your first days.
  • Review and test email copy for clarity, appeal, and deliverability (we avoid spam filters like the plague).
  • Support data work: clean, enrich, and analyze lead lists using spreadsheets, marketing tools, and (ideally) lightweight scripting.
  • Monitor campaign performance and troubleshoot issues proactively - everything from inbox placement to conversion anomalies.
  • Spot bottlenecks or process gaps and suggest fixes—then go implement them.
  • Talk to customers when needed, and bring their feedback to improve our playbooks.

Future projects might look different, but the goal is the same: helping the new verticals grow.

What does greatness look like in this role?
  • You think in systems, not tasks. You don't just follow SOPs. You look for ways to make the work more scalable, more robust, and less manual. That will make your life easier and help you grow into other responsibilities.
  • You’re comfortable analyzing data to guide your decisions and spot patterns others miss
  • You’re customer-minded and curious. You want to know what’s working, what’s not, and why.
  • You take full ownership of your responsibilities. You don't wait for instructions—you drive.
  • Finally, we are looking for high accountability – we value people who hold themselves to high standards and consistently deliver results.
What experience is necessary for the role?
  • Ability to structure messy data and synthesize insights. Comfort with spreadsheets is a must; familiarity with SQL or scripting (Python, JS) is a plus.
  • You should be comfortable with tools like Airtable, Slack, Notion, Zapier, or know how to get acquainted with them quickly.
  • Experience working with marketing, growth, or customer engagement teams is great - but not required. We value people who are resourceful and hungry to learn.
  • Strong writing and communication. You’ll be editing email copy and explaining your thinking clearly to others.
  • Education: No specific degree required. We care about what you can do, not just what’s on your résumé.
  • Experience Level: Open to candidates of all experience levels. What matters most is your ability to execute excellently and solve problems effectively.
  • Bonus: you’ve run experiments, built something on your own, or improved a system/process elsewhere.
The Process:
  1. Submit an application
  2. Take home assignment
  3. Interview with the Hiring Manager
  4. Interview with Head of Growth
  5. Interview with CEO
