Job description

Freebird is a fast-growing DTC brand disrupting the personal care space by reimagining how people shave. With a strong performance marketing engine and a loyal customer base, we’re now investing in the next major growth lever: a full-scale creator, affiliate, and community-led content program.

We’re hiring a proven operator to build and lead Freebird’s first-ever creator and affiliate growth program — modeled after the creator flywheel strategies used by brands like Comfrt, Gymshark, and Glossier.

You’ll be responsible for recruiting, training, and scaling a high-performing network of creators and affiliates who generate authentic video content, drive sales, reduce CAC, and fuel our paid media with high-performing UGC.

This is not a traditional influencer marketing role — this is a performance-driven growth engine built on systems, content velocity, and creator relationships.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
1. Creator Recruitment & Seeding
  • Design the sourcing and seeding strategy to onboard hundreds/thousands of high-potential creators
  • Leverage tools like TikTok Creator Marketplace, Automated Outreach softwares, and affiliate links
  • Build a scalable outreach and referral process
2. Onboarding & Enablement
  • Create a best-in-class creator onboarding system
  • Host weekly calls, provide templates, and train creators on how to drive performance
  • Build a clear playbook for content quality, hooks, and call-to-actions
3. Content Flywheel & Spark Ads
  • Work with creators to produce a steady stream of organic UGC
  • Identify top-performing videos to Spark and scale through paid
  • Partner with the paid team to build a feedback loop between creator content and media spend
4. Affiliate Growth
  • Own our TikTok Shop and affiliate commission infrastructure
  • Manage payouts, performance tiers, and creator incentives
  • Build a long-term flywheel of revenue-driving creators
5. Systems & Reporting
  • Set up dashboards to track creator activity, content volume, attributed revenue, and Spark performance
  • Report on key KPIs: content volume, CAC impact, creator ROI, and retention

Vision & Goals

This role is about building a new engine inside Freebird. Over time, we envision:

  • A network of 500+ creators posting regularly
  • A system that produces hundreds (eventually 1,000+) of videos per month
  • Spark Ads powered by high-performing UGC that lowers CAC and boosts ROAS
  • An organic content layer that drives brand, trust, and community

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading influencer, affiliate, or creator programs at scale — ideally at a high-growth DTC brand or performance-focused agency
  • Proven ability to recruit, activate, and retain hundreds of creators or affiliates with measurable revenue impact
  • Deep understanding of TikTok, UGC content strategy, and how to scale Spark Ads using high-performing creator content
  • Hands-on experience with affiliate platforms, TikTok Shop, or creator marketplaces (e.g., Yuka.ai, Creator Marketplace, Refersion, Impact)
  • Strong working knowledge of performance KPIs — CAC, ROAS, GMV, post rate, video view-through, etc.
  • Comfortable building systems from scratch using Notion, Airtable, or CRM-style creator tracking tools
  • Highly cross-functional: able to partner closely with paid media, growth, creative, and eCommerce teams
  • Clear written and verbal communicator — especially when managing external creators or training them
  • Bias for speed, iteration, and high output — this is a builder role, not a coordinator role
