Job description

As Vice President of Product, you’ll lead the vision, strategy, and execution of Riverside Insights’ Clinical Assessments product portfolio. You will guide cross-functional collaboration to bring impactful solutions to market, scale product practices, and support the long-term growth of our clinical business. This role is both strategic and hands-on—ideal for a product leader who excels at aligning teams, delivering customer-centered innovation, and driving measurable business outcomes. 

In this role you will get to:

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of new and existing clinical products—from discovery and planning through successful launch and adoption.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Research, and cross-functional teams to ensure products are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business goals.
  • Develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap informed by customer insights, market trends, and strategic priorities. 
  • Assess and evolve the Clinical Product team structure, capabilities, and processes to meet current and future needs.
  • Foster a strong, mission-aligned product culture that emphasizes impact, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of B2C software product development experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working with/for a company serving K–12 Special Education.
  • 3+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing product teams (3+ direct reports).
  • Deep understanding of product ROI and how to tie product decisions to measurable business results.
  • Strong grasp of go-to-market alignment, roadmap planning, and user engagement strategy.
  • Comfortable partnering closely with Engineering and Research teams to bring clinical solutions to life.
  • Experience in EdTech or with a core-plus-extension product strategy is a plus.
  • Personal connection to Riverside’s mission, especially in Special Education, is a plus.

  • Up to 10% travel for off-site team meetings
  • May require stationary positions (sitting or standing) for extended periods.
