We’re looking for a Credentialing Specialist who’s passionate about process, detail, and making a meaningful impact behind the scenes. In this role, you’ll be the key point of contact for onboarding our new practitioners, ensuring they’re credentialed quickly, accurately, and with care. You’ll be responsible for overseeing delegated file reviews and ensuring they meet NCQA and Mindpath Health’s compliance requirements.  Your work directly supports our mission—and helps providers reach the people who need them most.

This is a fully remote, full-time role (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday).

Responsibilities

  • Manages the end-to-end process for onboarding new practitioners, ensuring timely completion of all necessary steps.
  • Coordinates with internal teams to facilitate a smooth and efficient onboarding experience.
  • Works closely with practitioners and Mindpath Health’s clinical team to address any discrepancies or missing information.
  • Oversees new practitioner database setup, including demographic entry, onboarding tracking, primary source verifications (PSVs), and payor contracting linkages.
  • Performs NCQA delegation file reviews for all new practitioners including CAQH completion, license verifications, malpractice insurance, NPDB & other required PSV’s.
  • Manages the recredentialing process for Mindpath Health’s practitioners
  • Manages the Supervising Physician process for NP’s and PA’s.
  • Assists with delegated payor audits
  • Enters treatment form information into the credentialing database
  • Prepares reports and maintains accurate records related to credentialing and onboarding status.
  • Supports with payor enrollment processes.
  • Assists with Medicare & Medicaid revalidations.
  • Manages independent projects as assigned.
  • Identify areas of process improvement and contribute to the development of more efficient workflows.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of credentialing experience
  • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payor enrollment
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
  • A team player who can also work independently and manage multiple priorities

The pay for this position is $22 to $27 per hour. We offer full benefits (medical, dental, vision), paid time off, holiday pay, 401k, tuition reimbursement, paid parental leave, and more.
