Job Overview 

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Technical Project Manager - Salesforce to own the product roadmap, planning, and delivery success of our Salesforce platform. This includes Salesforce Health Cloud for HCP and patient engagement, and Salesforce Sales Cloud for B2B opportunities and account management. The CRM platform is part of a broader set of integrated systems that support Commercial and Customer Support at Sequel.

As the Technical Project Manager, you will partner with business stakeholders, IT, implementation partners, and vendors to shape scalable solutions that support our commercial, clinical, and patient support strategies. This is a key role ensuring successful delivery of a core part of Sequel’s commercial platform of systems.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties 

  • Define and maintain the strategic roadmap for Sequel’s Health Cloud (Sales and Service clouds) CRM
  • Facilitate prioritization of platform enhancements, factoring in strategy, impact assessments, regulatory considerations, dependencies, and resource constraints.
  • Lead backlog grooming and sprint planning sessions, in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into functional user stories, process flow diagrams, functional specifications, and user test scripts.
  • Provide a bridge between business and technical stakeholders, including dependent stakeholder groups, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Support documentation and configuration planning to enable reusability and scalability.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of Salesforce features and enhancements, working closely with developers, QA, and third-party partners.
  • Coordinate testing, validation, and change management to ensure smooth deployments.
  • Ensure traceability of requirements through development, testing, release and support.
  • Serve as the platform point of contact for business teams including Commercial, Clinical Operations, Customer Support, Compliance and IT
  • Conduct stakeholder demos and collect ongoing feedback to inform the product backlog.
  • Support user training, documentation, and communication during new feature rollouts.
  • Ensure all configurations and workflows adheres to Sequel regulatory requirements.
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases and work with vendors/partners to leverage platform enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the Salesforce development team, Salesforce support team, and Sequel IT team to manage platform health and governance.

Minimum Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree (4-year) in Business, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • 2+ years of experience working with Salesforce platforms, including Health Cloud and/or Sales Cloud.
  • 7+ years of experience in portfolio management, business analysis, or platform ownership, including 2+ years in a leadership role. Leadership experience should include managing business relationships with senior stakeholders and driving cross-functional collaboration across technical and business teams.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and managing IT governance structures, including prioritization frameworks, stakeholder alignment processes, and strategic oversight across complex initiatives.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

  • Strong understanding of CRM data model best practices. Awareness of Salesforce Health Cloud features and data objects desirable.
  • Familiarity with AppExchange solutions, Salesforce automation and customization (Flows, Apex, LWC), and integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, APIs, data loader).
  • Experience in designing and optimizing data models for both B2B and B2C use cases.
  • Strong knowledge of applying data privacy standards to Salesforce implementations
  • Experience supporting technology in Lifesciences, Med-tech, Healthcare, or other FDA-regulated domains preferred.
  • Strong systems thinking, documentation skills, and the ability to break down complex requirements into solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business users, architects, and technical partners.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments where flexibility and initiative are key.
  • Comfortable working in Agile environments, using tools such as Jira for backlog and roadmap management.
  • Ability to travel a few times a year to the Manchester, NH office.
