Make an Impact

Trillium Health Resources is a Tailored Plan and Managed Care Organization (MCO) that manages serious mental health, substance use, traumatic brain injury, and intellectual/developmental disability services in North Carolina. Serving in 46 counties, we help individuals and their families strengthen well-being and build foundations for a healthy life.

Join our team as we empower others to live their best lives by providing access to quality healthcare. We offer a challenging, engaging work environment where staff take home more than a paycheck. Every day, we see the results of our dedication – in the smiles of children on our accessible playgrounds and in the pride on the face of an adult cooking a meal for the first time. Working at Trillium Health Resources is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to make a direct impact on the communities we serve.

At Trillium, we know that empowering others begins with supporting and developing our team. That’s why we offer competitive benefits and work-from-home flexibility so that our employees thrive outside of the office. We’re also committed to building a diverse, inclusive culture where all employees have the potential to grow professionally and personally.

What We’re Looking For

Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for an Employee Relations Coordinator to join our Human Resources Team. This position’s primary responsibility is to recommend guidance and direction around employee relations to leaders and employees.  Provides internal consultation and support to all staff for promoting and fostering a fair, inclusive, productive and collaborative work environment.  Serves as a subject matter expert to both the leaders and employees.  Occasionally, the Employee Relations Coordinator will engage with outside parties to investigate and/or resolve matters.

On a typical day, you might:

  • Provide correspondence and administrative assistance to HR Management in a timely manner.
  • Handle and process sensitive, complex, and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Identify and reduce risks by developing and recommending processes to foster constructive employee relations and ensure the organization’s approach to its employees is fair, respectful and consistent.
  • Ensure employment policies and procedures comply with relevant employment regulations.
  • Serve as the point of contact for complex HR issues and questions.
  • Provide guidance, support, and recommendations to leaders and employees regarding company-wide application of workplace policies and procedures and employee relations issues.
  • Receive, evaluate and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
  • Coordinate investigations of complaints and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide recommendations to leadership on employee grievance and disciplinary processes.
