PeopleSoft Technical Consultant(Baseline Clearance/NV1))

This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Customization & Development:

o    Modify delivered PeopleSoft components using PeopleTools (Application Designer, PeopleCode, etc.).

o    Develop new components like pages, records, components, menus, and processes.

·         Integration:

o    Build and maintain integrations using Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, etc.

·         Reporting:

o    Create and optimize reports using SQR, BI Publisher, nVision, and PS Query.

·         Performance Tuning:

o    Optimize SQL and PeopleCode for performance.

·         Upgrades & Patches:

o    Support PeopleTools and application upgrades.

·         Data Management:

o    Write SQL scripts for data conversion, cleanup, or reporting.

·         Testing & Support:

o    Provide technical support for issues and unit testing.

Skills & Tools

·         PeopleTools Suite:

o    Application Designer, PeopleCode, App Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker.

·         Programming Languages:

o    PeopleCode, SQL, SQR, Java (for integration).

·         Database Technologies:

o    Oracle, SQL Server, DB2.

·         Other Tools:

o    BI Publisher, nVision, PS Query, Unix Shell Scripting.

·         Version Control & Deployment:

o    STAT, Phire, or other version control tools.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

·         Experience with one or more PeopleSoft modules (e.g., HCM, FSCM, Campus Solutions).

·         Several years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft technical development.
