Job Description

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to support both our mission and our expansive growth. Specifically, our Digital Marketing Manager will serve as our in-house SEO and SEM expert. You’ll work to seamlessly unite our content and development practices to drive search engine rank, performance, traffic, engagement and conversions for all of our portfolio companies. You’ll work with our marketing team segments to drive organic site traffic and conversions which will result in new customers. You’ll be in charge of executing various SEO content strategies, such as defining best practices, creating SEO guidelines, and conducting on and off- page optimization. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION 

  • Use critical thinking and understanding of SEO best practices to devise a monthly SEO Strategy that will be executed by the segment marketing teams on a monthly basis. 

  • Continuously optimize existing website: 

  • This includes implementing or editing on-page elements like title tags, meta descriptions, header elements internal linking, alt text, etc. 

  • Work with Content Strategists to plan, create, and edit user-friendly content that utilizes keywords effectively and naturally. 

  • Paid Ad Campaign Development and Management: Oversee the creation, execution, and optimization of paid advertising campaigns across multiple channels including Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, pay-per-lead programs, and other platforms. Responsible for budget allocation, keyword selection, and ad creation to maximize ROI and meet conversion goals. 

  • Perform ongoing keyword research as needed to inform writing and on-page optimization. 

  • Work with internal teams to fix technical errors (such as broken links, missing or misapplied redirects, etc.) in a timely manner and monitor site health regularly. 

  • Provide analysis and recommendations in coordination with SEO best practices for site structure, semantic markup, and content development. 

  • Implement link building and local citation building campaigns. 

  • Integrate organic search and social strategies to improve content discovery. 

  • Setup, monitor and track results using our analytics dashboards and social media tools. 

  • Perform SEO audits of content and websites quickly. 

  • Effectively use data and analytics to support strategic and tactical initiatives and the creation of the product roadmap. 

  • Closely manage quarterly campaign budgets. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION 

  • 4-6 years of experience 

  • Must have a proven track record of driving results (SERP rank, traffic, engagement and conversions) 

  • Expertise in reporting and analysis tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEMrush, MOZ, Hubspot, etc.). 

  • Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in CMS environments—WordPress experience is preferred 

  • Clear communication skills in multiple forms (e.g. verbal, e-mail, PowerPoint and in-person presentations) 

  • Have a working knowledge in HTML, JavaScript, and other programming languages as they relate to SEO 

  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition 

  • Have a passion for learning—you must be up-to-date with the latest trends and SEO best practices 

  • Excellent time management skills 

  • Ability to collaborate with a variety of team members, including those focusing on website management, analytics, content, design, and engineering
