About the Team/Role

Wex  is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Sales Operations Business Intelligence Analyst to join our collaborative and fast-paced Sales Operations team. In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to leverage data to provide actionable insights that directly impact sales efficiency, velocity, tools adoption and overall performance. You will work closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to analyze key metrics, identify trends, and contribute to informed decision-making, playing a vital role in optimizing our sales engine. How you'll make an impact

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

  • Proactively identify and analyze key sales performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and sales cycle length to uncover trends and areas for improvement.

  • Creatively support the development and implementation of data-driven sales strategies and initiatives by providing analytical insights and recommendations.

  • Independently conduct ad-hoc data analysis and generate reports to answer specific business questions and support strategic decision-making.

  • Efficiently document data processes, reporting methodologies, and dashboard configurations for knowledge sharing and maintainability.

  • Collaboratively partner with sales leadership, sales operations colleagues and other departments to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable reporting solutions.

  • Adapt: You’re at ease in a fast-paced environment and are able to change direction rapidly when priorities, deadlines, or personalities shift. 

  • Effectively Communicate: Whether it’s verbal or written, you present information and ideas in a clear and professional manner. You understand your audience and can easily shift your communication style so it is understandable to all.

Experience you'll bring 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to work with data.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas and data manipulation).

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and the ability to extract and interpret data.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data findings clearly and concisely.

Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Excel or Salesforce Reports & Dashboards.

  • Previous internship or project experience in an analytical role.

  • A proactive and self-motivated approach with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of Sales Operations and Business Intelligence.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Pay Range: $53,000.00 - $70,000.00
