Manager, NCLEX Success

The budgeted hiring range for this position is $90,000-95,000. Targeting a start date in July 2025.

Position Summary:

The NCLEX Success Manager provides oversight and administration of NCLEX Coaching services to current learners and alumni. This position is responsible for the management of all NCLEX Coaches in the timely delivery of services to learners, training, onboarding, and daily operation of NCLEX Coaching services and responsibilities related to the NCLEX Coaching and Coordinator roles. This position will report directly to the Assistant Vice President, Learner Experience.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates NCLEX Coaching development and review.
  • Monitors, guides, counsels, and advises NCLEX Coaches in their roles working with learners and graduates.
  • Coordinates assigned 1:1 coaching and graduate coaching with NCLEX Coaches.
  • Serves on college committees.
  • Oversees NCLEX outcomes and reporting, using data to drive decision-making in processes and procedures.
  • Collaborates with NES course faculty, NES functions, Academic Support, Learner Support Services, Career Services, Learning Resources and Library, Registrar, Learner Accounts, and outside vendors.
  • Approval of transcript clearance for graduation.
  • Develops and modifies coaching processes using relevant outcomes data and best practices developed from evidence-based practices.
  • Maintains working relationship with Utah DOPL, ensuring the accuracy of licensure reporting.
  • Attends meetings and conferences as necessary to maintain knowledge of existing and new NCLEX-PN and NCLEX-RN exam and licensure policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Understanding of different state boards of nursing licensure requirements.
  • Create and maintain schedules for all learner, graduate, and BSN395 webinars.
    Qualifications and Education Requirements:
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and graduate program.
    • MSN degree required, DNP Preferred.
    • 3+ years’ experience in higher education, administrative, clinical, and/or didactic instruction.
    • 2+ years’ experience in an academic leadership role.
    • Unencumbered current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in the state of residence compliant with state law.

      All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will pay for travel and lodging accommodations.
