Job description

To support this vision, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help lead our Contact Center Application Development Teamsas they work to empower our customers with capabilities that shorten their time to action within our flagship product, Calabrio One. In this role you will be responsible for building and owning applications across our full tech stack, including telephony, cloud-scale APIs and user interfaces.

What you’ll be doing:

  • As part of an Agile team, build scalable front-end applications using React, contributing to a micro frontend architecture using module federation.
  • Develop backend services using object-oriented languages, AWS platform, RDS, DynamoDB, API, Python and the Django framework
  • Collaborate on cloud-native designs and implement scalable AWS-based infrastructure solutions
  • Lead issue resolution, root cause analysis, and performance tuning within the team’s domain.
  • Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and planning ceremonies.
  • Support cross-team initiatives and promote best practices across the organization
  • Support the development of a best-in-class engineering team by reinforcing engineering best practices through code reviews, solution design, and leading by example

We’re looking for:

  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services; AWS Developer certification is a strong plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge of modern software engineering best practices (security, coding standards, code reviews, source control, CI/CD, testing, and operations)

·       Proficiency with CI/CD tools, Git, and collaborative development workflows.

  • Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Datadog, EFK/ELK stack).
  • Strong communication skills and experience working within distributed, cross-functional teams
