Job description

Are you the Sherlock Holmes of sourcing, but with a stethoscope instead of a magnifying glass? We’re on the lookout for a Healthcare Recruitment Specialist who’s got serious insider knowledge on Medical Coding roles — from CPTs to ICDs and everything in between.

You'll be playing matchmaker between top-tier healthcare talent and roles that need razor-sharp attention to detail. If you've got a knack for understanding what makes medical coders tick and know how to reel in even the most passive candidates, keep reading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, screen, and shortlist candidates specifically for Medical Coder roles (HCC, ED, inpatient/outpatient, and risk adjustment coders? You know the drill).
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to deeply understand job requirements, team culture, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Utilize multiple sourcing strategies (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Boolean magic, referrals, etc.) to find both active and passive candidates.
  • Conduct pre-qualifying interviews and assess candidate competencies, certifications (CPC, CCS, RHIT, etc.), and fit.
  • Maintain a solid pipeline of credentialed medical coding professionals.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with a quick turnaround time (because in healthcare recruiting, timing is everything).
  • Provide market insights, salary benchmarks, and candidate feedback to hiring teams.
  • Ensure excellent candidate experience throughout the process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business, Healthcare Admin, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in recruitment, with a strong focus on healthcare roles — especially Medical Coders.
  • Deep understanding of Medical Coding functions, certifications (CPC, CCS, etc.), and HIPAA compliance basics.
  • Strong sourcing skills with a track record of recruiting for hard-to-fill healthcare roles.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Amenable to work on a night shift schedule to sync with US-based clients/candidates.
  • Experience using ATS and CRM platforms like Bullhorn and Workable.

Benefits

  • Permanent Work From Home
  • Weekly Paychecks
  • Fixed Weekends Off
  • HMO Reimbursement on your 90th day
  • Thriving Company Culture with Complete Autonomy
  • Exclusive Specialized Training Programs
  • Unlock Your Potential with a Highly Competitive Salary
