Position Summary

We are recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and oversee the installation of electrical systems across a variety of projects including commercial, office, healthcare, educational, industrial, government, and federal buildings. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards while coordinating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, efficient electrical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems tailored to project requirements across multiple sectors.
  • Prepare detailed electrical design drawings, schematics, load calculations, and equipment specifications.
  • Ensure all electrical designs comply with local, state, and national codes (e.g., NEC) and energy efficiency standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and general contractors to integrate electrical systems seamlessly with building infrastructure.
  • Conduct site inspections and supervise electrical installations to ensure compliance with plans and safety regulations.
  • Assist with project cost estimation, budgeting, and scheduling related to electrical systems.
  • Perform risk assessments and recommend necessary upgrades or improvements to electrical systems.
  • Support commissioning activities and troubleshoot system issues during and post-construction.
  • Lead and manage electrical designers, promoting technical excellence and efficiency.
  • Oversee discipline-specific tasks and smaller projects contributing to infrastructure and innovation.
  • Serve as a technical expert for specialized facilities, equipment, or engineering functions.
  • Guide and review the work of engineering professionals to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Lead complex engineering tasks requiring coordination across multiple disciplines.
Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications for Electrical Engineers
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
  • 4 to 10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including NEC.
  • Experience with electrical system design for commercial, institutional, healthcare, or government projects.
