Position Summary:
As a member of the Commercial Operations and Analytics Team, this position is responsible for supporting Ardelyx’s Field Access Management and leadership team by ensuring the effective execution of daily field access management operations. This position provides hands-on oversight of processes, manages field access data escalations, and establishes reporting and insights that identifies performance trends, areas of opportunities, and operational efficiency. By working closely with Field Access, Patient Services, and cross-functional partners, this role helps ensure that the strategic direction set by the Field Access leadership is successfully executed at the operational level. The ideal candidate is an experienced individual with a deep understanding of patient services, field reimbursement teams, and patient access programs. They will have a strong analytical background, ability to identify trends, resolve escalations, and enhance workflow efficiency.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Field Access Leadership to monitor, identify, and address performance trends at the Field Access Manager, Regional, and National levels
Build and maintain reports that monitor prescription workflows in order to quickly diagnose problems and identify emerging trends that support issue resolution that positively impact turnaround times and access to therapy
Establish and provide scheduled and ad-hoc reports related to Field Access Manager performance for the Field Access Director(s) and Market Access Leadership Teams
Serve as the primary point of contact and provide timely responsiveness for field access team escalations related to data reporting needs and ad-hoc analysis, inclusive of identifying trends in field team escalations and recommending scalable solutions to prevent recurring issues
Improve communication pathways between field access and patient services partners to streamline escalation resolution, share access insights, and enhance service delivery
Create and maintain Field Access monthly and quarterly Business Reviews for Field Access Director(s) and Market Access Leadership Teams
Support the adoption of new workflows and create best practices across the Field Access team working with FAM leadership and vendor partners
Responsible for managing and maintaining the Field Access Team roster
Partner with training team to ensure consistent onboarding, skill development, and reinforcement of core program objectives
Partnering with cross-functional colleagues to support systems and reporting enhancements for the FAM team
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in business or related field with 8+ years of related experience or equivalent experience
Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making and improve processes
Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.) preferred
Proficiency with statistics and dataset analytics
In depth knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturer compliance requirements and patient confidentiality (HIPAA regulations)
Outstanding customer relationship, interpersonal, and communication skills with the established ability to effectively work with diverse audiences and influence cross functionally
Strong project management skills and abilities; comfortable managing multiple projects and delivering strong results
Strong interpersonal skills including ability to communicate effectively with people individually and groups; ability to communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues; experience establishing and maintaining effective relationships across departments
Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action to resolve issues and mitigate risks
Demonstrated abilig to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects at one time
Self-motivated, high degree of initiative, high achievement and superb attention to detail
Strong verbal communications skills and demonstrated ability to write clearly and persuasively
Strong analytical skills with the proven ability to effectively analyze data to determine trends and inform strategy. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of Tools important for success
High interest in working in the “roll up the sleeves” environment of a small biotechnology company, without the resources of larger companies
Willingness to travel up to 20% of time within the U.S.
The anticipated annualized base pay range for this full-time position is $147,000-$179,000. Ardelyx utilizes industry data to ensure that our compensation is competitive and aligned with our industry peers. Actual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include an annual bonus target and equity awards, subject to eligibility and other requirements.
