Salary Range:
up to 2000 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST)

Position Overview:

Were looking for an Executive Assistant who can serve as the operational backbone of our leadership team. This role goes far beyond scheduling -- it's about creating structure, removing friction, and proactively driving efficiency in a high-stakes, high-speed startup environment. You'll be the right hand to our leadership, freeing up their time to focus on big-picture strategy and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and optimize the executive calendar using Motion.
  • Manage inboxes, draft communications, and triage priorities.
  • Conduct in-depth research and prepare briefing documents.
  • Build, document, and maintain operational systems and SOPs.
  • Track priorities, manage follow-ups, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Step in to assist with recruiting logistics and project coordination.
  • Support internal and external communications with high clarity and professionalism.
  • Pitch in on presentations, internal reports, or event coordination when needed.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar high-responsibility support role.
  • Advanced proficiency with Motion, Google Workspace (or Microsoft Office), and AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and a bias for action.
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities and adapt quickly in fast-changing environments.
  • Experience building systems and processes from scratch.
  • Open to candidates who do not have direct Athena experience but bring comparable executive support skills and relevant training.


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in a startup or fast-growth environment.
  • Background in project coordination, recruiting, or event planning.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Figma, or other design tools.
  • Comfort with data analysis, spreadsheets, or basic financial admin.
  • Knowledge of the sports betting or gaming industries.
  • Previous remote work experience with cross-functional teams.
