Aquatech has an immediate need for a commercial coordinator to assist with the implementation of our entity and project in Sweden.  The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the successful operation and coordination of Aquatech Headquarters (HQ) USA and Aquatech Sweden. The duration of this project is estimated at 2.5 years. During that time and for the first several months, coordination activities will involve working in the Canonsburg, PA headquarters, followed by relocating to Aquatech’s Sweden entity.  

The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and be detail-oriented.


Job Description: 

  • Liaison between Aquatech HQ and client, on invoice-related matters including payments.
  • Preparation of invoices and submission when required.
  • Coordinate with Aquatech HQ on payment due by invoicing process.
  • Collection of tax documents for VAT filing and tax filing company. 
  • Other duties involve collection documentation and coordination with vendors to ensure compliance with in-country mandatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with Aquatech HQ and essential accounting service providers to file taxes and ensure timely preparation of the financial statements.
  • Manage and track local and site-related expenses. 
  • Work with the HR department in HQ to recruit, hire, and onboard candidates, including work visas.
  • Arrange the office environment, including supplies such as furniture for workstations, computers, copiers, phones, and other office equipment not provided by the Client.
  • Assist in maintaining records for employment, payroll, and any related policies and procedures required.
  •  Help to maintain timekeeping records and ensure timely funding of payroll.
  • Responsible for local vendor expediting.
  • Management of petty cash, logging, and payments for local purchases.
  • Coordination of inspection for local purchases. 
  • Attend project review meetings as needed, and coordinate with the site manager for various activities as needed
  • Miscellaneous duties and ad hoc projects as assigned

Physical Job Demands:

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, limited walking, and standing.

 

Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or business-related field, or an associate's degree with prior experience
  • Experience in purchasing or accounting preferred 
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Travel up to 75%, on-site relocation required 
  • Strong English communication skills required.
  • Ability to obtain a Passport & successfully meet work visa criteria for Sweden.
