ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Avoya Travel is hiring a full-time Avoya Early Success Sales Development Coach. 

The Avoya Early Success Sales Development Coach will work with Independent Agency owners participating in the Avoya Early Success Program to build strong relationships and improve key performance metrics, including Retention Rates, Close Rate Percentage (CRP), and Repeat Client Percentage (RCP). This role directly supports Avoya in achieving annual targets and increasing overall sales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Coach Independent Agencies participating in the Early Success Program.
  • Engage with agency owners to share suggested best practices that support their success during the first year.
  • Maintain consistent communication with agency owners and their licensed agents to provide motivation and positive reinforcement.
  • Create invitations and schedule individual and/or small group coaching sessions.
  • Document coaching sessions in writing, including topics covered, challenges identified, and best practice solutions discussed.
  • Host live sessions, webinars, panels, and workshops as assigned.
  • Collaborate on the development of PowerPoint presentations and other materials for presentations and education.
  • Participate in virtual and in-person events as assigned.
  • Respond to emails and other inquiries in a timely manner and document accordingly.
  • Communicate promptly with team members and staff via email and Microsoft Teams.
  • Keep internal process documents and team resources accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with other tasks and/or special projects as required.


REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

  • Proven experience in coaching, training, or sales is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of sales methodologies, techniques, and strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate independent agencies to achieve their goals.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales productivity tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operating systems.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Employees who work from home (part-time, full-time, or on occasion)must be able to meet performance standards and department requirements in a productive and professional environment.
    • This includes the ability to work with little or no distraction(s), consistent internet connectivity, regular and ongoing communication with supervisors(s), reliable childcare and/or eldercare (if applicable), and depending on the role, the ability to discuss and protect all confidential information (company or people related).
    • Presents a professional and tidy appearance (virtually or in person) while attending calls and/or meetings. 

 

EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION

  • A minimum of 3 years of working experience in a similar role, within a travel industry is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • This is primarily a stationary position with prolonged periods of sitting and working from a computer (ability to type, read, review, write, etc.) for a full workday. 
  • Professional appearance when attending events or facilitating sessions virtually or in-person. 
  • Ability to speak English clearly, in a friendly manner, and at an appropriate tone and volume over the company’s provided phone system, Microsoft Teams, or in person. 
  • Limited Travel up to 2% if needed for work events.
