Job Summary

The Systems Analyst III – Investments/Banking will join the Asset Management and Service Delivery team to design business processes and software solutions that meet The Standard’s business needs. In this role, you will interact directly with the business groups (Investments, Corporate Finance & Accounting, etc.) to understand their needs, translate to requirements, and direct the changes and configurations to databases and systems, all while taking into account any downstream impacts. You will work on problems of diverse scope - which requires data analysis, basic programming, and collaborating with internal stakeholders - to ultimately put discipline and definition around our supporting software systems. Ensure solutions meet quality standards and are delivered in a timely manner. Your experience in Investments/Banking will be highly sought after.

Skills and Background You’ll Need

  • EDUCATION: A High School Diploma or GED. A Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems is preferred.
  • EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience. Investments/banking experience is highly preferred. Ability to translate the technical/financial information to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience with Investment Management Systems such as “CAMRA” or “Singularity” is highly preferred.
  • Basic programming skills in PowerBI, Databricks, SQL and Python (or similar tools.)
  • Experience working with and maintaining a relationship with third party vendors and success working in an off-shore model.
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Critical thinking skills and experience in a collaborative team-based environment.

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.

Salary Range:

$74,500.00 - $126,500.00
