We are seeking a UK-based Financial Manager to take ownership of all financial operations. This is a remote role requiring high levels of independence, professionalism, and strategic insight. You will manage project-based financials, ensure regulatory compliance, and support leadership with financial planning and reporting across multiple international ventures.

• Develop and manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
• Lead financial oversight of UKRI and EU-funded research projects
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, project officers, and regulatory bodies
• Manage banking relationships, company accounts, and outgoing payments
• Ensure compliance with UK financial regulations and international standards
• Deliver financial analysis to inform strategic and operational decision-making

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• CPA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management
• Experience with financial administration of UKRI/EU-funded projects
• Strong understanding of UK tax, accounting, and reporting standards
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Proficiency in financial software and Excel; ERP system experience is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
