Data Scientist

What you will do

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our Global Business AI team, which operates an innovative startup mindset.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Snowflake to unlock business data from our data lake and develop predictive models in Azure that project business program outcomes, aiding in strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to generate actionable insights that drive innovation and foster business growth.

Snowflake Data Engineer, MS Power Platform Developer and MS Azure Data Science certifications are used to ensure alignment with the technical standards of our global team.

How you will do it

  • Data Collection and Analysis

    • Gather, clean, and analyze data from diverse sources, utilizing PowerApps for necessary automation.

    • Utilize SnowFlake Data Lake to aggregate source and output datasets for model development.

  • Model Development

    • Develop and deploy predictive models within the MS Azure Workspace to forecast business projections.

    • Design and implement experiments to evaluate strategies and the effectiveness of various model approaches.

  • Performance Monitoring

    • Establish processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.

    • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and PowerBI reports.

  • Collaboration and Continuous Learning

    • Work alongside cross-functional teams and data & process owners across our global operations.

    • Stay current with the latest data science tools, techniques, and best practices.

What we look for

Required

  • Data Scientist with experience in Azure with Jupyter Notebooks and deployment pipelines.

  • Skills in SnowFlake SQL notation and experience working within data lake environments.

  • Overview of Microsoft PowerApps and experience working with MS Power Automate.

  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills using PowerPoint presentations and Power BI Dashboards.

  • Fluent Czech or Slovak speaker with advanced business and technical English proficiency.

  • Flexibility in work hours.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
