Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $80,000.00 - $94,500.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to assist in the development, optimization, and management of our Mortgage and Home Equity Lending Products.

Essential Functions

  • Stay current with mortgage industry trends, competitor offerings, and strategy to ensure the Real Estate Lending (REL) product suite remains relevant and competitive

  • Evaluate mortgage and home equity product features and recommend improvements and enhancements to current product suite

  • Analyze product performance by using key metrics such as loan volume, conversion rates, and delinquency

  • Work closely with REL Risk to ensure mortgage products meet all regulatory and risk requirements

  • Coordinate with sales marketing on promotional campaigns

  • Research and provide updates about various products offered by different investors

  • Coordinate with Secondary Market team to set up products with new or existing investors

  • Assist in preparing various presentations for training, committees, and other meetings as needed

  • Assist in maintaining product guidelines, policies, and procedures

  • Participate in various projects as needed

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Basic knowledge of mortgage operations, compliance regulations, competitive product offerings and customer needs

  • Basic knowledge of bank lending products, services, and policies

  • Ability to provide practical application of products and services offered by REL

  • Basic knowledge of mortgage industry, especially the sales and secondary marketing function

  • Proven ability to read reports and perform resulting needs for analysis

  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • 2+ years product support or related experience required

  • 2+ years of mortgage lending or banking experience preferred

At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $80,000 to $94,500 annually.
