Description

We are looking for a qualified cellular device and SIM Test Engineer with technical background to be part of Webbing success team. If you have experience with cellular device and SIM card testing, end to end service understanding and are looking for an exciting challenge, come and join us.

What you’ll do:

As a Device & SIM Engineer, you will be responsible for the evaluation, testing and improving of Webbing innovative solutions.
You will own the new device onboarding process - device connectivity testing and debugging, testing report preparation, interaction with customers, device vendors and SIM vendors.
You will run the Webbing test-lab, working closely with the Webbing network team and the Software QA team.
You will be collaborating with the Product Management team, working closely with the Product Managers, Product Owners and the R&D team in order to improve Webbing existing Device and SIM related solutions as well as validate new solutions.

Requirements

3 years of experience as a Cellular Device Testing Engineer and/or Cellular Network Engineer
Knowledge and experience working with trace and network analysis tools (like Wireshark and similar)
Knowledge and experience working with device and SIM trace and log analysis tools (QXDM, TEMS, Comprion and similar) will be considered an advantage
Ability to build verification plans and execute test cases
·Good knowledge of cellular call flows and mobile network procedures
Familiarity with IP and cellular network protocols
B.Sc. in Telecommunications/Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, or related field - preferred
Experience with cellular radio interfaces – advantage
Experience with OTA and SIM settings - advantage
Experience with SMDP, SMDP+ and RSP general functionality
Proficiency in English
