Position Overview:

The Reverse Mortgage Production Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the reverse mortgage origination process by managing operational workflows, coordinating between various departments, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This position utilizes organizational skills, and thorough attention to detail, to communicate effectively with clients, loan officers, and other stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the reverse mortgage application process from initial inquiry through closing.
  • Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of applications.
  • Ensure that all necessary documentation is collected, organized, and submitted according to regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions related to each loan application.
  • Assist in ensuring all reverse mortgage transactions comply with federal and state regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Perform quality control checks on loan files to identify and rectify any discrepancies or missing information.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the loan process, providing updates and answering questions.
  • Educate clients about reverse mortgage products, terms, and processes to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
  • Track and report on production metrics, including application volume, processing times, and closing rates.
  • Assist management in analyzing production data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage processing or a related role, with a focus on reverse mortgages preferred.
  • Knowledge of mortgage lending regulations, particularly those specific to reverse mortgages.
  • Skilled at effectively organizing and prioritizing tasks.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and mortgage processing software.

Pay Range: 

  • Hourly Rate: $26.44-$28.84

  • Eligible to receive per file bonus.
  • The posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
