We're looking for a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our growing team at The Hotels Network.

Based at our headquarters in Barcelona as well as in other strategic locations around the globe, The Hotels Network team is made up of 150 people from 25 different nationalities. We run our infrastructure on Kubernetes over AWS, maintaining a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and security. While AWS is our primary cloud provider, we also use Google Cloud in certain parts of our platform. We are proudly SOC 2 Type I certified.
We are looking for a DevOps professional who is eager to contribute to our cloud infrastructure and also grow in areas related to security and compliance.
What you’ll do:
Help evolve and maintain our cloud infrastructure (mainly AWS, partially GCP) with a strong emphasis on scalability and reliability.
Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to improve DevOps practices and automation across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Contribute to developing and maintaining our Helm charts and Terraform codebase.
Participate in architectural and operational discussions with a continuous improvement mindset.
Support and improve CI/CD pipelines (we use CircleCI).
Contribute to security and compliance efforts with the team, learning and evolving your skills along the way.
Collaborate with third-party providers and assist in the audit process.
Help document best practices and internal operational/security procedures.
Communicate clearly in English with team members across different countries and time zones.
In your first month:
Complete your onboarding and understand our infrastructure and security context.
Get to know the team and integrate into our workflows.
Participate in production deployments and internal technical discussions.
In your first three months:
Take ownership of small projects or improvements in infrastructure and tooling.
Collaborate with your squad to identify opportunities for optimization or automation.
Start supporting security initiatives, learning from senior team members and external partners.
In your first six months:
Become a reference for specific areas of our DevOps stack.
Take the lead on initiatives that improve our development or deployment processes.
Contribute actively to the evolution of our infrastructure and our security posture.
Interest in or initial experience with security and compliance (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and CI/CD tools like CircleCI.
Cloud experience in AWS and/or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting best practices.
Experience with or interest in vulnerability management, incident response, or DevSecOps practices.
Certifications in AWS or GCP are a plus, but not required.
