About the Role

IIX is seeking a Consultant to support a Capital Raise initiative. The Consultant will work closely with senior leadership to manage and execute the capital raising process, including investor outreach, deal structuring support, and documentation preparation. The ideal candidate has prior exposure to M&A, private equity, investment banking, or strategic fundraising and is eager to apply that knowledge within a globally recognized institution that operates across the full spectrum of the impact investing ecosystem.

This role offers an opportunity to be involved in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization at the intersection of innovative inclusive finance, women empowerment, and climate action. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting, and who resonates with IIX’s values of Passion, Resilience, Equity, and Maverick thinking.

This is a consultancy role with potential for transition into a longer-term position, depending on performance and organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

● Assist in managing end-to-end capital raise process, including preparing pitch decks, financial models, and investor collateral.
● Support due diligence activities and coordinate with internal teams (legal, finance, impact).
● Conduct investor research and outreach; maintain a pipeline tracker and engage potential investors.
● Support strategic fundraising discussions and contribute to deal structuring where required.
● Assist in preparing board or executive materials related to capital raise progress.
● Coordinate with external advisors, data rooms, and third-party service providers.
● Provide ad-hoc strategic and financial analysis as needed.

Key Qualifications & Skills

Required:

● Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
● Minimum of 7 to 8 years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A, private equity, venture capital, or financial advisory.
● Familiarity with capital raising, investor engagement, or M&A execution processes.
● Strong analytical, financial modeling, and communication skills.
● Exposure to sustainability, ESG, or impact investing is a plus.
● Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
● Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
● Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and assume full ownership of projects.

Contract Terms

● Start Date: Immediate
● Duration: Short term for 3 months, with possible extension
● Commitment: Full-time or part-time negotiable based on availability
● Location: Remote
● Compensation: Commensurate with experience and qualifications
