Job description

Client overview:

A supply chain company in the USA. Offers sea freight, air freight and land transport services. Dealing with refrigerated cargoes also. 

Our service includes open tops, bulk shipping vessels, flat racks, tracked vehicles, and bulk liquid or dry tanks shipment also. Furthermore, they also provide the garment on hanger containers and bulk shipping vessels.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as Back-Office Support to the Customer Service Officer.
  • Input/Upload data into MAGAYA (Cargo Network System).
  • Track shipments (Air/Sea) daily via web tracking or by contacting Forwarding Agents and Shipping Lines.
  • Responsible for collating e-files of all active shipments.
  • Update CSO regularly regarding any status changes of shipments.
  • Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
  • Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
  • Tracking and fixing shipping errors.
  • Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
