Business Solutions Analyst - ERP Implementation Location: Remote Salary: $90–130k
Sabot Consulting is seeking a highly experienced and collaborative Business Solutions Analyst to support ERP modernization efforts across a multi-campus university system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ERP assessment and implementation, particularly within higher education environments, and will play a key role in aligning technology solutions with institutional strategy.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments of current ERP environments (e.g., Banner) across multiple institutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for student information, HR, and finance systems.
Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements in ERP configurations, business processes, and data architecture.
Support the development of future-state ERP functionality and contribute to RFP creation for ERP vendors and implementation partners.
Assist in evaluating ERP vendor proposals, including demonstration planning, scoring, and final selection.
Coordinate with the PMO to ensure alignment with project timelines, risks, and deliverables.
Ensure compliance with FERPA, HIPAA, and other higher education data regulations.
Facilitate documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to institutional teams.
Must Have:
5+ years of experience in ERP implementation projects within higher education.
Demonstrated experience with ERP platforms such as Banner, Workday, or Oracle Cloud.
Proven ability to define and document functional and technical ERP requirements.
Experience supporting RFP development and vendor selection processes.
Strong communication skills and ability to engage with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with academic collaboration tools (e.g., shared catalogs, cross-listed programs).
Understanding of compliance requirements in higher education (FERPA, HIPAA, etc.).
