This is a remote position.
We are currently seeking a Financial Administrator to join our team and support the day-to-day financial operations. This role is essential to ensuring smooth financial processes, accurate record-keeping, and timely communications across departments and with suppliers.
Process supplier invoices and ensure payments are made on time
Match delivery notes with invoices, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate with the team
Assist in accounts payable and receivable operations
Reconcile company credit cards and bank transactions
Support the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports
Help facilitate monthly and year-end close processes
Maintain well-organised and accurate financial documentation
Respond to internal and external queries regarding finance
Conduct aged debt analysis and prioritize debt collection
Ensure adherence to company financial policies and relevant regulations
Upload and process receipts/invoices using Dext software
Work within Xero (preferred) or quickly adapt to new financial systems and tools
Proven experience in finance admin, bookkeeping, or similar role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Clear and professional communication via email and phone
Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members to resolve queries
Familiarity with Xero is a plus, but not required if you can quickly adapt
Previous experience using Dext (or similar platforms) is advantageous
Background in finance/accounting is ideal but not essential for the right candidate with relevant experience
