Responsibilities
Support the business unit with all aspects of financial planning and budgeting
Be a trusted advisor to the head of the business unit and functional leads
Be able to thrive in a matrix environment and support multiple stakeholders distributed globally
Primary responsibility for preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasts
Manage and maintain up-to-date real-time full P&L
Review and create ad-hoc analyses and reports for business management and support staff
Analyze results, forecasts, and budgets to evaluate historical performance, trends, and future impact on the business
Provides supporting analysis and financial ROI for new and ongoing initiatives
Support report and data requests for contract status
Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
Use various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate, and format data and reports
Support client, vendor, and external consultant contract negotiations
Manage and support full lifecycle of PMO activity
Prepare and distribute month end closure reports including invoicing
Requirements
6-8 years’ experience in FP&A roles
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business and Management, Accounting, or similar
Experience working for a technology vendor selling software license and professional services
High level of competency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Power point
Experience in ERP and BI
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to influence and motivate people
Ability to perform precise and thorough work, including understanding the data and producing financial materials
Experience working in a dynamic, diverse, and multi-cultural environment
Strong business acumen
Remote; travel ~ 1-2 times / year
