SUMMARY We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-orientedPayroll Specialistto join our team. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring compliance with Philippine labor laws, and providing accurate and timely salary processing. The Payroll Specialist will also handle statutory reporting, resolve payroll-related issues, and collaborate closely with HR and Finance teams. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Process end-to-end payroll for employees, including computation of salaries, overtime, deductions, and bonuses.
Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements, such as SSS, PhilHealth, HDMF, and BIR contributions and reporting.
Prepare and file government-mandated reports and payments on time to avoid penalties or compliance issues.
Manage employee records, ensuring accurate maintenance of payroll-related information, such as salary adjustments, leave balances, and benefits.
Generate and analyze payroll reports to ensure data accuracy and provide insights for management.
Address employee queries related to payroll, including salary discrepancies, tax computations, and deductions, resolving issues promptly.
Conduct regular audits of payroll processes and systems to identify and correct errors or discrepancies.
Collaborate with the HR team to update payroll systems with new hires, terminations, and employee changes.
Handle year-end activities such as preparing annual BIR Form 2316 and other employee tax documents.
Stay updated with new laws and regulations affecting payroll processes to ensure ongoing compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in payroll preferably in a BPO, Outsourcing, or MSP set-up.
Proficient in payroll systems such as Jeonsoft, SAP or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws, taxation, and statutory contributions.
High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality.
