Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

To manage warehouse and logistic operation at Pfizer Tuas plant with full quality and safety compliance by deploying and using the IMEx “way of working” for day to day operations, problem solving, escalation and continuous improvements.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Warehouse and Logistic Operation
- Lead and manage logistic and freighting both for Inbound and Outbound activities. Ensure timely completion on logistic documents and liase with internal and external stakeholders (e.g suppliers, customer service, drug product sites etc)
- Liase with Pfizer regional logistic team to ensure flawless outbound delivery for Finish API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) to Pfizer affiliates
- Liase with plant material planner to ensure smooth Incoming material. Ensure completion on logistic document for import and local material delivery.
- Lead coordination with freight forwarders and/or logistic center through timely bookings of shipments, monitoring of transits, port clearance and delivery to customers
- Lead regular review on Licences and coordinate new application to ensure Pfizer complies with authorities as in Singapore Custom & Excise, Environment & Health Ministries, Maritime and IATA and those as required in the ports of the consignment destination.
- Close coordination with Pfizer Central Logistic for marine insurance matters pertaining to proper coverage, reports, survey and claims.
- Manage and monitor warehouse budget and expense, including 3rd party warehouse spending.
- Manage 3rd party warehouse and ensure full compliance as Pfizer standard. Coordinate with Pfizer Quality and Procurement to ensure 3rd party warehouse operates as service level agreements.
- Responsible on inventory accuracy and coordinate physical count activities. Liase with Finance for inventory reconciliation.
- Become Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on SAP Warehouse Management. Setup Warehouse Master Data and responsible in defining access and authorisation for warehouse personnel

- Liase with Center Logistic team to ensure completion on SAP GTS setup and shipment routings  Manage non-inventory purchase through Ariba that relates to warehouse and logistic activities  Perform warehouse people capacity based on activity people time

- Perform warehouse capacity planning based on manufacturing, long-terms plan. Identify future constraints (space, safety storage/ licenses etc) and work with cross-functional teams on implementing necessary solution.

- Lead coordination for physical material disposal. Liase with planning and finance team to perform material disposal timely and high accuracy.

- Actively participate/ lead Process Centric Team (PCT) to identify and drive improvement as per Continuous Improvement (CI) goals.

- Play an active and impactful role to deliver flawless execution for respective PCT by updating performance against metrics, highlighting and resolving issues, with appropriate escalations.

Full Compliances in Warehouse and Logistic cGMP and EHS

- Ensure cGMP compliance of logistic and warehouse activities as a fron-line leader.. Lead and drive compliance in meeting Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

- Lead and support quality investigation and CAPA for incidents related with plant warehouse and logistic.

- Promote and become role model for EHS practices in warehouse operation.

- Ensure compliance on freighting qualification for temperature controlled API from plant to customer destination  Coordinate and become main contact both for internal and external audit related with plant warehouse and logistic.

- Ensure up to date training compliances for team member in warehouse and logistic.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Internal: Supply Planner, Production, Quality, Engineering, Finance, Customer Service
External: Liaison with freight forwarding, 3rd party logistic service provider and vendors

RESOURCES MANAGED

Financial Accountability: Warehouse spending versus actual expense

Supervision: Indicate the typical number of Colleagues managed. Include direct & indirect reports, matrix responsibility and or additional resources (i.e. contingent workers), where applicable. If not applicable, indicate NA. Material Technicians, Warehouse contractor.

EDUCATION

Minimum Diploma (Singapore graduate) or Graduate (Overseas graduate)

EXPERIENCE

- Minimum 8 years’ experience in supply chain, with minimum 5 years in warehouse and logistic
- Experienced in using SAP and operate warehouse management module
- Experienced in pharmaceutical or healthcare manufacturing operation environment is an advantage
- Worked with cross-functional teams in complex and changing environment.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction
- Analytical thinking and data analysis experience
- Hands on capacity planning experience.
