We are looking to build our team with a Data Scientist, reporting into our Head of Analytics. You will be responsible for supporting our team’s efforts in building both statistical and predictive models that help us identify trends and better operate our business.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy predictive models to enhance decision-making and improve healthcare outcomes. Conduct in-depth statistical analyses to derive actionable insights from complex datasets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and opportunities for analytical solutions. Leverage Python or R to build statistical and machine-learning models tailored to business requirements. Deploy and maintain models in production environments using AWS cloud services. Optimize model performance through rigorous testing, validation, and ongoing maintenance. Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders. Continuously stay current with new methodologies and technologies relevant to data science. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field; Master’s degree preferred. 2-3 years of professional experience in data science, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis. Proficiency in Python or R for statistical modeling and data analysis. Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and loading. Experience with AWS cloud services for deploying models into production (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Lambda, EC2, S3). Proven track record of building, validating, and deploying predictive models. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
