Job description

Title: Technical Account Manager
Location: USA/Remote
Reports to: Project Manager, Implementations Lead
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Full-Time or Part-Time: Full-Time
Salary Range: $145,000 - $160,000
*Starting pay varies based on location and experience, in compliance with specific state wage regulations. Competitive rates tailored to your geography and expertise.

Position Overview:
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) plays a critical client-facing role within the Delivery Management team, supporting external customer satisfaction across all stages of the customer lifecycle—from pre-sales to implementation and post go-live. This role requires frequent collaboration with the IT division, Sales, and other internal business units to ensure seamless service delivery. The TAM monitors activity across multiple customers in real time and provides input on solution development and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to account-level customer inquiries and ensure timely follow-up.
• Analyze customer requests and route to the appropriate team members with clear documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams including Coronis IT staff, non-technical stakeholders, vendors, and freelance practitioners.
• Support large projects by coordinating external communication, scheduling meetings, and assisting with reporting under the guidance of the senior project manager.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customer billing issues involving accounts payable.
• Operate independently within defined parameters and project management methodologies.
• Monitor expenses and project budgets as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure effective delivery of solutions.
• Educate clients by delivering product demonstrations and sharing updates on new releases.
• Document all customer interactions and maintain up-to-date records in tracking systems.

Skills and Competencies:
• Strong team participation and collaboration within the Delivery Management team and assigned projects.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships while effectively managing expectations.
• Proactive risk identification and resolution or escalation as appropriate.
• Clear, consistent communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong documentation practices for tracking and transparency.
• Excellent time management with the ability to meet deadlines and escalate concerns proactively.

Education and Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in technical account management and/or high-level customer support, preferably in a software development or IT environment.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks across concurrent projects.
• Familiarity with issue-tracking software and project deliverables.
• Ability to travel to customer sites or other locations as needed.
