Business Development Manager – Engineered Pump Solutions

Operating in over 24 countries, this organization is a leader in diaphragm pump and fluid control technologies, serving essential industries such as medical, laboratory, process automation, and industrial manufacturing.
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead growth across a strategic North American territory. This role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional with experience in solving complex technical challenges and building trusted relationships with OEM clients.

Execute the regional growth strategy for your assigned territory.
Identify, develop, and close new OEM accounts in key sectors including medical devices, laboratory equipment, analytical systems, and automation.
Partner with internal teams (product management, account management, engineering) to support seamless onboarding and long-term customer success.
Act as a subject matter expert in pump applications, delivering tailored solutions to technical challenges.
Serve as a trusted representative of a globally respected pump brand, supported by dedicated engineering, logistics, and production teams.
Proven background in industrial technical sales, preferably in pumps, valves, or fluid-handling systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) strongly preferred. Candidates with no degree but have 10+ years of relevant experience will also be considered.
Demonstrated ability to deliver value-based engineered solutions to OEMs.
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce a plus) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Must be able to pass a background check, reference check and drug screen
Base Salary: $84,000 – $130,000 (based on experience)
Incentive Program:
Year One: 20% of base (10% group, 5% territory, 5% discretionary)
Up to 40% total incentive potential for new business development
