Job Description Summary:
The Clinical Database Administrator Team Lead is responsible for providing senior level production oversight and supervisory guidance to the Clinical Database Administration team for management of corporate quality and process improvement systems such as the Midas+ Central Server. They also provide expertise to clinical quality and safety process improvement teams, oversight committees and senior leadership in the areas of data acquisition, integration, monitoring and application design. This position is responsible for ensuring data integrity, security, reliability and functionality.
Responsibilities And Duties:

System Administration Serves in the lead role for daily operations of the system server by providing services including but not limited to: database design, web-based design GU i , Remote Data Entry RD e focus development, server maintenance, and user assistance/training/trouble-shooting. Additional technical tasks include management console for security certificates, FTP file loads, BAT files for scheduled jobs and system/user security management.

Clinical Quality Indicators/Project Design and Analysis Serves as a member of process improvement teams and quality oversight committees, providing expertise in data management, study design and analysis. Implements plan to obtain data, sets up/maintains database, and develops reports and graphics for dissemination to key customers for PI activities. Provides consultation to team members and leadership regarding the compilation of the data processes.

Project Facilitation and Consulting Serves in the lead role for collaborating with vendors, I. S. , Quality and clinical teams for the planning, design and implementation of new modules, system process changes, and application/server upgrades. Also provides consultation to inter/intra departmental personnel in the areas of study design, and technical support to team members for integration with various software applications.

Leadership This position is responsible for the oversight and standardization of all administrator duties. Provides database oversight, change management leadership and supervisory guidance to the Clinical Database Administration team. Assists department director with project delegation, production assignments and performance assessment.

Continuous Clinical Process Improvement Serves as an integral team member in the areas of patient safety, risk management, clinical quality, case management, utilization review, social work, documentation improvement, peer review and physician profiling to enhance clinical performance for improved quality patient outcomes in the most cost effective manner.
