Position Summary:


As the Technical Product Owner, you will take ownership of product feature development, technical coordination, and third-party platform management within our Casino/ Core platform ecosystem. You will bridge business needs and technical execution, ensuring smooth delivery, platform compliance, and tool administration — all without requiring hands-on coding but with a solid grasp of how things work technically.



Key Responsibilities: 


Duties will include, but are not limited to:


  • Product Development Oversight: Manage and drive the delivery of new product features on our Casino platform, including front-end components within deadlines and budgets.
  • Risk assessment: Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed
  • Team Liaison: Act as the key communicator between internal departments (Product, Compliance, IT, etc.) and technical teams to align priorities and ensure clarity.
  • Jira Management: Set ticket priorities and administrate Jira boards (creation, workflows, tracking).
  • Platform Vendor Contact: Be the primary point of contact with third-party casino platform providers for questions, issues, and escalations (primarily via Jira and direct communication).
  • Documentation & Process: Keep internal documentation, forms, and technical guidelines consistently updated and organized.
  • Infrastructure Awareness: Track hosting costs, services, and infrastructure-related decisions in collaboration with tech and finance.
  • Strategic Tech Solutions: Support the development of internal technical solutions by transforming business or compliance needs into technical briefs.
  • Compliance Collaboration: Work closely with the Compliance team to ensure all platform and hosting activities meet regulatory expectations.
  • Tool & Service Administration: Manage accounts, billing, and configuration for critical third-party tools.
  • Invoice Oversight: Administer and track invoices related to technical tools and service providers.
  • Team Leadership: Directly manage team members, with additional indirect coordination of responsibilities across multiple teams. 



Requirements: 

  • 4+ years in technical product or project management in SaaS, platform-based, or regulated industries (preferably in the iGaming Industry).
  • Strong knowledge of Jira: board setup, workflow configuration, and backlog grooming.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with technical infrastructure (e.g., DNS, APIs, email/SMS gateways) and cloud services (coding is not  required, but a solid understanding is essential)
  • Comfortable interfacing with vendors and resolving platform-level issues.
  • Experience in managing technical tool stacks like Cloudflare, SendGrid, and Twilio.
  • Proven ability to translate business and compliance requirements into technical execution plans.
  • High attention to detail and structured organizational mindset.
  • Experience working in mid-sized companies with dynamic, cross-team environments.

This role is available fully remote or hybrid from Malta.
