Title:  Sr. Associate Software Engineer.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Java Full Stack Developer with 5 to 6 years of experience, you will be part of our dynamic engineering team. You will leverage your strong expertise in Java backend development and front-end technologies to build scalable, robust, and user-friendly applications.

  • Full-Stack Development: Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code for both front-end and back-end applications using Java, RDBMS, and NoSQL technologies.
  • Cloud Integration: Support the development and deployment of applications on cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Architecture Alignment: Collaborate with solution architects to ensure designs meet performance, scalability, and maintainability goals.
  • API & Microservices: Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java frameworks like Spring Boot.
  • Cloud Services Utilization: Leverage native cloud services for building, deploying, and scaling applications.
  • CI/CD Implementation: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Monitoring & Reliability: Monitor application performance, identify issues proactively, and ensure high availability and reliability in cloud environments.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness across different environments.
  • Production Support: Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement timely fixes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in Java, cloud computing, and DevOps.
  • Clean Code Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Code Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the reliability, performance, and maintainability of applications.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE

You have earned a degree in Computer Science (or a related field) and bring 5–6 years of professional experience in Full Stack Development. You’ve built a strong foundation in Java and have hands-on expertise with cloud technologies like Azure or AWS. You’ve contributed to developing scalable, cloud-native applications and are proficient in designing, developing, and deploying solutions using Java-based technologies on these cloud platforms. Beyond your technical skills, you approach challenges with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and excel at problem-solving.

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • You bring 5–6 years of comprehensive experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong focus on cloud-native application development.
  • You have 3–4 years of hands-on experience in enterprise product development.
  • You are proficient in Object-Oriented Design and Development, with hands-on experience in Java, Microsoft SQL Server, Spring, Spring Boot, REST services, and Microservices.
  • You’ve worked with Azure or AWS cloud services and understand platform capabilities deeply.
  • You’ve implemented and maintained CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure Pipelines or Jenkins, and are comfortable with infrastructure automation.
  • Your SQL Server skills include advanced query writing and developing stored procedures.
  • You are familiar with containerization technologies like Docker, and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
  • You possess excellent problem-solving abilities and can troubleshoot complex cloud environment issues.
  • You have experience with test automation frameworks such as JUnit, JMeter, Selenium, or Nightwatch JS.
  • You’re familiar with code quality tools like Sonar or Snyk.
  • You’re an effective communicator and collaborator in cross-functional teams.
  • You manage deadlines independently, communicate clearly, and take ownership of your work.
  • Holding Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect) is a plus.
  • Insurance domain knowledge is an added advantage.
