1. Responsibilities

Build the semantic bi-layer on top of the data warehouse
Develop data models, reports, and dashboards from ideation through production
Design, build and deploy BI solution on Looker, Validate data for accuracy
Create high-performance dimensions/measures for visuals/reports and to allow customers to build their own reports
Configure the right Row level and Column level security constructs
Understand business requirements and create customer-facing Dashboards/Reports and appropriate drill to options
Build analytical use cases, derive insights on top of the data model
Create custom visuals, leverage the SDKs of BI platforms
Manage the deployment, configuration, health of Looker servers
Other duties as assigned

2. Experience

2+ years of experience as a BI Engineer/Data Engineer/Data Analyst or a combination of education and experience in this field
Hands-on experience with advanced SQL and writing performant queries
Technical expertise with data modeling and database design
Experience with at least one of the modern BI Tools: Looker/PowerBI/Tableau/Microstrategy (not as POC)

3. Skills

Comfortable writing code in any one programming language: Javascript/Python/R..
Understands Data Privacy/Compliance, GDPR, HIPAA etc
SQL, Excel, Tableau/PowerBI/Looker

4. Education, Certifications, Licenses

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
