As the Senior Experience Strategy and Transformation Professional, Executive Event Planning, you will partner closely with the Director, Event Planning, to manage all details of executive events. This role is a highly visible position and manages all aspects of executive events, from initial planning and concept development to execution, ensuring the event runs smoothly, meets objectives, advances enterprise strategy, and stays within budget.
Key Role Functions
Plan approximately 15-20 highly complex events across the U.S. within a calendar year
Work collaboratively with business partners to achieve goals for each event
Identify suitable venues, negotiate contracts and manage site logistics
Source and manage relationships with vendors including internal partners
Coordinate and manage all travel, meeting and special event activities
Ensure efficient workflow and coordination across all aspects of the event
Identify potential risks and implement contingency plans to address issues that may arise during the event
Cascade information as necessary to business partners
Provide post-event reporting and analysis and insights to business partners and other leaders
Influence best practice and company guidelines to ensure meetings are aligned with our vision
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
10+ years of meeting and event planning experience for large scale, complex corporate, government and/or entertainment industry events
Extensive experience supporting executive teams with a high degree of professionalism
Understanding of budgeting principles and ability to manage event finances
Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple moving parts while meeting deadlines
Strong communications skills with clients, vendors and business partners
Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
Organizational and business savvy with ability to interact and influence at all levels
Ability to develop innovative event concepts and design engaging experiences
Travel up to 50% for site visits and event execution and may require working extended or atypical hours as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Direct executive management experience (with C-suite or equivalent professionals)
Quick adaptation to technology and online tools
