The Opportunity
We’re looking for a People Team Intern to support the redesign of our company-wide intranet (Confluence). You’ll take the lead in auditing existing content, organizing it, and ensuring everything is accurate, relevant, and easy to find. You'll also be responsible for sunsetting outdated pages and publishing fresh, well-structured content that reflects our brand and values.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with People, IT, Marketing, and other teams to ensure our global workforce has access to the right information, at the right time. You’ll also have the chance to conduct usability testing on our very own UserTesting platform—helping shape the structure and navigation of the intranet to support an effective self-service experience.
The Team
You’ll be part of our People Team, working cross-functionally with partners from across the business—including Marketing and IT. While this internship can be done remotely, you’ll connect regularly with teammates based in the US and Europe. Our shared goal is to create an intuitive and engaging intranet that supports every employee, no matter where they’re based.
What We’re Looking For
A current student or recent graduate in Communications, Business, HR, Marketing, or a related field
Strong writing and editing skills with a flair for clear, engaging content
A knack for organizing and simplifying information
Great attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks independently
A genuine interest in employee experience and internal communications
Familiarity with platforms like Confluence, SharePoint, or Notion is a plus—but not required
Don’t meet every single requirement but excited about the role?
We encourage you to apply! Research shows that some candidates—especially from underrepresented backgrounds—are less likely to apply unless they meet 100% of the criteria. You might be just the right person for this or other roles. Diverse perspectives foster the innovation we need to thrive, and we’re committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, experiences, and skills.
Application Process
UserTesting is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a participant in the U.S. Federal E-Verify program. Women, minorities, individuals with disabilities and protected veterans are encouraged to apply. We welcome people of different backgrounds, experiences, abilities and perspectives. UserTesting will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, as applicable.
