The Role: 

We are seeking a highly experienced and customer focused Senior Director of IT Infrastructure & Operations to lead our Service Management and Engineering functions.   The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the IT strategy for these critical business functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives, and drive innovation using technology. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, vendor management, and business acumen to drive innovation, efficiency, and effectiveness across IT Operations and the entire organization.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the IT operations team, including system administrators, network engineers, MSPs, and support staff.
  • Establish and maintain IT service management (ITSM) processes, including incident management, problem management, and change management.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of data by directing vendors to implement appropriate controls and best practices.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of all IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT systems.
  • Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Manage the telecommunications infrastructure and equipment used in all Immunovant facilities.
  • Partner with cross-functional business IT teams to drive integration and alignment between IT systems and business processes.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Lead change management efforts related to the implementation of new systems or process improvements.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members to foster a high-performance culture.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a focus on IT Operations, vendor and infrastructure management.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience managing people and teams.
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
  • Proven experience in a regulated environment (e.g., biotech, pharmaceutical, healthcare).
  • Knowledge of GxP and HIPAA is highly desired.
  • Experience in Start-ups a plus.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Salary range for posting
$260,000$275,000 USD

Compensation is based on a number of factors, including market location, and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, 401k, and other benefits, including unlimited paid time off and parental leave.
