MDM Tier 3 Engineer – Ivanti MobileIron Specialist
Contract/Full-Time
100% Remote (Must work EST New York hours)
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled MDM Tier 3 Engineer with a strong background in Ivanti MobileIron to join our team. This role requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role, managing and maintaining mobile device management (MDM) solutions, system upgrades, and security policies.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in sentry server upgrades, access as a service, Intune mobile management, and certificate renewals while also collaborating with SMEs globally.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and upgrade Ivanti MobileIron sentry servers, ensuring smooth operation and security compliance.
  • Implement and maintain Intune mobile management, including device enrollment, policy creation, and software deployment.
  • Renew and manage security certificates, ensuring compliance with security best practices.
  • Lead system and service maintenance activities, including complex application and service upgrades, regular health checks, and roadmap planning.
  • Provide expert troubleshooting and support for mobile devices, including Android and iOS, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Collaborate with global SMEs to provide expert guidance on MDM solutions and endpoint security.
  • Integrate and troubleshoot Okta, ensuring seamless authentication and security compliance.
  • Develop, test, and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for desktop and laptop environments.
  • Oversee Intune device management and implement software deployment strategies for desktops and laptops.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for patching, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor market trends and recommend upgrades, endpoint engineering solutions, and security enhancements.
  • Ensure proper DNS and DHCP configurations for endpoint management.
  • Track and log all activities in ServiceNow, producing detailed reports and documentation.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role, managing MDM and endpoint solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Ivanti MobileIron, including sentry server upgrades and policy management.
  • Experience with Intune mobile management and desktop/laptop software deployment.
  • Deep knowledge of access as a service, certificate management, and security protocols.
  • Proficiency in Okta integration and troubleshooting.
  • Strong experience with group policy management (GPOs), DHCP, and DNS.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with global teams.
  • Experience using ServiceNow for tracking and documenting incidents and resolutions.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate and lead maintenance activities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with endpoint engineering and security enhancements.
  • Knowledge of advanced troubleshooting techniques for mobile and desktop environments.
  • Familiarity with automation tools to improve endpoint security and software deployment processes.
