Job description

The Scope
The Network Development Manager (NDM) for FSC Latin America leads the operational backbone that enables the region's bold ambitions in sustainable forest management and market development. With a cross-cutting role that blends financial, project management, capacity-building, and data intelligence, the position ensures FSC goals translate into measurable outcomes on the ground.

Overseeing several projects across multiple countries, the NDM coordinates technical and financial reporting, monitors compliance with FSC's global policies, and streamlines operational processes to support the expansion of FSC-certified areas.

The NDM collaborates closely with our Network Partners and the Regional Director and requires a systems-thinking mindset, enhancing collaboration with stakeholders, and increasing visibility of opportunities.


Main Roles & Responsibilities
Professional Experience:
•    Over 7 years of experience in regional coordination, sustainability, or environmental certification organizations
•    Proven track record in project design, execution, and evaluation for donor-funded and private-sector programs
•    Experience managing reporting systems, logistics, and operational support across diverse geographies
•    Skilled in organizing high-level stakeholder engagements with governments, donors, key accounts, and Indigenous Peoples

Your profile
Academic Background:
•    The NDM holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Policy, Development Studies, Administration or a related field. 
•    The NDM holds complementary training in project management, data visualization (e.g., Power BI), and operational systems.

Languages and geographic exposure:
•    Fluent in Spanish, English, and ideally familiar with Portuguese
•    Extensive experience working across Latin America and intercultural fluency.

The Fine Print
Location: Latin America (Remote)
Working Hours: Full-time – 40 hours per week 
Duration of contract: 2-year contract with the intend to go open-ended.
Starting Date: As soon as possible.
