Job description

This is a remote position.

RichBrains is looking for a proactive and strategic Business Development Specialist to take full ownership of outreach initiatives and lead market expansion through creativity, adaptability, and hands-on execution.

Your success will depend on your ability to analyse, prioritise, and drive high-impact outreach across multiple channels, working closely with management to test ideas and unlock new growth opportunities. If you are a strong, independent contributor, who understands sales and marketing processes, can prioritise effectively and eager to take initiative or suggest the best way forward, this role is a good fit for you.

Role overview:

  • Own and independently manage the full sales cycle (from lead generation to deal closing)

  • Grow and nurture professional network

  • Establish and nurture professional relationships with prospective clients and partners via emails, LinkedIn and other digital channels

  • Determine and prioritise multiple outbound initiatives based on impact and alignment with strategic goals

  • Constantly test, iterate and scale outreach tactics – bring ideas to the table and take full accountability for their execution

  • Deeply understand sales and marketing workflows and use that knowledge to influence and improve BD processes

  • Proactively identify high-value opportunities and create tailored approaches for outreach and proposal development

  • Continuously monitor industry trends, be aware of market dynamics, client priorities and competitive landscape to proactively refine outreach strategies and adjust on-the-go

  • Participate in the preparation and delivery of commercial proposals, case studies and presentations

  • Track, measure, and analyse business development activities and results, using CRM and analytics tools

  • Keep up-to-date with latest trends, industry developments and client needs within IT outsourcing and technologies

  • Actively participate in business development strategy discussions and contribute ideas for market expansion and service enhancement



Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales or business development roles in IT outsourcing
  • Advanced English— must be able to communicate fluently with native-speaking leads and international clients
  • Strong knowledge of sales and marketing processes; ability to manage and improve these processes independently
  • Strong initiative-taker — you don’t wait for instructions, you bring forward strategy and execution plans
  • Hands-on experience with outreach via LinkedIn, email, and other professional networking platforms
  • Familiarity with automation tools, CRM systems, modern business development workflows and understanding of latest trends
  • Active LinkedIn user with a well-established professional network in the tech/outsourcing space

Would be a plus:

  • Familiarity with AI tools and experience with them in day-to-day work
  • Knowledge of German language
